11 Sentosa East Mall
Singapore 099054
Our journey starts in Sentosa Boardwalk, we spent almost 15 minutes of
strolling while enjoying the natural breeze. It was an awesome morning I should
say as no other tourist in the pedestrian bridge except me and Balong. The feeling was like we owned
the whole place, and hope it's ok to shout in here (ahahaha!). It was invigorating
to see the panoramic view of the Harbourfront, the Sentosa shoreline, the famous Cable car and of course the colorful monorail. We only paid SGD 1 per person as entry fee, there is no difference really if you're going to compare with the monorail, its just that in Sentosa Boardwalk you have more time to explore the view than to have a 5-minute ride with the monorail.
We supposed to go to Maritime Experiential Museum to check the intricate design of the building that looks like a shell but when
we saw the ‘Universal Globe’ we changed our plan and made a detour directly to
the theme park as it excites us big-time! (ahahaha!).
Have a great day/night everyone.

The famous Universal Studio Singapore that caters more than 9 million in 2011.
We wonder because in Sentosa Boardwalk we’ve seen 2 or 3
people walking but when we arrived in the entrance there were already long
queues of tourist buying the tickets! Sayyyyyy whhaaaattt??? Where this people
do came from????? (ahahaha!). Well,
that only mean one thing, we're the only visitors who prefer the long way as
pretty sure they took either the monorail or the bus (ahahaha!). hmmmmmm
funny! (ahahaha!)
Hmmm thats me buying the ticket. They have several booth thus queuing is not an issue. Have you seen the effect of humid in the window panel? (ahahaha!)
Before we buy the tickets we made several shots with the
‘Universal Globe’ first but we waited for 10 minutes just to have a good
backdrop as we need to compete with other tourist. Thanks God we brought our
tripod, thus we don’t need to ask someone to take our photo together then.
After few shots, we headed to the ticket booth and bought 2 tickets that cost
us SGD 66 around P2,178.oo or USD 50
with 2 pcs. of free complimentary tickets to Marine Experiential Museum which is
located just adjacent of the USS plus 30 % off to Voyage de la Vie show. Please note that week-day ticket price
is different than week-end prices. The price during weekend (Saturday and Sunday) including holidays is SGD 72.
Ticket cost is just SGD 66 per person plus 3 complimentary tickets.
Universal Studio Singapore is the 2nd themed park to open in
Asia next to Japan. This is the ‘first in
Southeast Asia’ and the grand opening was on May 28, 2011. Don’t expect
another themed park to be built in Southeast Asia then as promised from
Universal Parks and Resorts that no other themed park will be built for the
next 30 years! So Philippines, if Clark Subic is the target of the next
Universal Studio, then it’s just a dream so far (ahahaha!). Well, who knows (wink
wink ~ hehehe).
And of course, Balong!
The theme park is located in Resorts World Sentosa just
around 200 to 300 meters away from Sentosa Boardwalk. Even you have no plans to get in the
Universal Studio Park; there are so many attractions around for your eyes
delight for free. However, if you would like to go in, you need to spend one
whole day as half day is not enough. Start your day right before it open; let
us say 10am until evening so that you have ample time to explore each corner of
USS. Not to missed the Hollywood after Dark spectacular event because they
usually have fireworks display every Friday and Saturday.
Ok, cant get enough with the globe huh? ahahahaha!
Universal Studio is packed with several attractions that
will truly blow your mind away. For just one ticket charge, you will get a
non-stop live entertainment, packed with restaurants, food carts, retail
stores and kiosk for everybody’s delight.
We took several photos in all our adventures here, thus we
decided to make entry per zone because honestly it's quite hard to delete some
photos which you considered as your humble memories to look back ayt? (ahahaha!). I don’t know how many parts
we can get into but I’ll explain in details all the stuff we did starting from Hollywood, New York, Sci-Fi City, Ancient
Egypt, Water world, Far Far Away, and Madagascar.
So that’s the introduction we have for now folks, coming up
next our wonderful trip along Hollywood Zone!!!!
Have a great day/night everyone.
Enan signing off.
Cheerrrrrrrrriooos!!!
Smile :)
