Universal Studio - Transformers, the Ride ~ The Ultimate 3D battle (Part 7)

Sci Fi Zone
Resorts World Sentosa
Sentosa Island, Singapore
Bumblebee perching at the roof, protecting all the guest who visit the Sci Fi City.
We have a very hectic schedule here in Universal Studio Singapore (USS) yet we enjoyed every minute that we stayed in here. Its midday and we've only visited Hollywood and New York so far and we still have 5 more themes to enjoy. Currently, we are here in Sci Fi City where the famous Transformers 3D, The Ride is a must try. It’s the same rollercoaster as Battlestar Galactica but its setting is held indoors which I may say a little bit more interesting and more exciting.

Lifelike replica of Bumblebee in of the the corner of Sci Fi City.
Transformers 3D, The Ride is the first attraction we encountered from New York City zone. It’s the first ride we did just after our visit to 'Lights Camera Action' hosted by the famous director himself 'Steven Spielberg'. This is one craze in Singapore as Optimus Prime along with other Autobots are fighting with the Decepticons for the source of all Transformers life, the AllSpark.

Giant replica of Optimus Prime in front of Starbot Cafe ready for photo shots.
Getting the vicinity is a 360 sudden change as New York zone resembles the year around 1940’s while Sci Fi zone is the complete opposite that transports you a thousand more years than today. The vicinity is filled with futuristic buildings and out of this world installation and seems that cultures and remnants of the past already vanished and replaced by lifelike robots. It’s like we ‘humans’ are considered endangered! If this awaits us in the future, then I’ll start building a spaceship today (ahahaha!).

Seems like only few were on queue but there were already hundreds of rider/recruits inside.
Before we take the ride, we checked all the features in the area and saw the giant replica of Optimus Prime just in front of Starbot Café. He measures a staggering 3 meters tall that occupies half of the wall. The robot seems alive as its entire body parts move like in the movie. It is one attention grabbing mock-up which is ready for photo opportunity if you wanted too but, you need to queue for a few minutes just to have that chance. We wanted to have our share of pics but there were lots of guest lining up, thus as usual we content ourselves with background shots.

There are so many wall logo's of N.E.S.T. everywhere. good for shirt design ayt? (hehehe!)
Who could forget Bumblebee? His lifelike replica is a little smaller comparing to Optimus Prime but looking at him perches at the top of the roof makes me feel safe (ahahaha!). He roamed around the quarter too and he is like the guardian of the building with careful watching eyes, cannons ready, and protecting every guest who is getting in.

There is a retail outlet just besides the Starbot Café, named 'Transformers Supply Vault’. They sells several souvenir items ranging from Autobot insignia, key holders, pillows and apparels of all ages and lots more. We suppose to buy some stuff to bring home but we decided to check it later after the ride.

There were already hundreds of visitors inside when we get in. This is our first rollercoaster ride here in USS.
After saying our hello’s to Bumblebee in the lobby, we headed straight to the queue lines where 'base personnel' help us out along the way. We enlisted ourselves along with other hundred recruits who fall in line. I don't want to join supposed to be but I am one of the good guys you know that's why I offered my help to Autobots (ahahaha!).
I don't know what is meant by North 319 but this is the way to the entrance of the N.E.S.T.

We were transported straight to a 'NEST Facility' of the Transformers Universe. [Yup, there is a universe solely for transformers (hehehe!).] The N.E.S.T. or Non-biological Extraterrestrial Species Treaty was created to combined Human/Autobot defense force against Decepticons led by Megatron that hides in different countries around the globe.

There are so many TV monitors and cameras everywhere.
You better watch the blockbuster movie in order for you to understand the blow by blow happenings of the whole story. It has something to do with the good-guy (Autobots) and bad-guy (Decepticons) robots that wanders the earth for quite sometimes now. When we enter the NEST there is pre-orientation show that tells the story behind the facility, how to protect the humanity and the AllSpark. We riders will not only have the chance to watch the Autobot battle but actually be a part of the whole action.
Ancient slab with written symbols in it like the hieroglyphics of Ancient Egypt.

The entire facility is filled with huge overhead TV monitors, cameras, computer equipments, warning signs, restricted logos and an ancient slab that seems the remainder of the Transformer history. Their symbolism is quite the same in Egypt hieroglyphics though (ahahaha!).
The torn hands of a Decepticon sealed in the glass as a possession of NEST Facility.
We’ve seen an interesting object sealed in a glass and later found out that it was a torn hand of a Decepticons served as the NEST possession. It’s interesting to see such figure because it’s huge around 2 meters I guess and take note it’s just the hand alone for goodness sake (ahahaha!).

Signs like the photo above can be seen everywhere and as a recruit, we need to follow the rules no matter what (ahahaha!).

AllSpark Containment Chamber is one of the features in the facility I was longing to see. I thought the shape is cube but it seems not coz it’s around 2 inches in length, and an inch thick in a form of a triangle. Well, I read it wrongly maybe (hehehe!). This is the whole reason why both factions were fighting because this artifact is a powerful energy that gives life to the Transformers.

The queue to the ride,  many u turns, left turns and right turns but it was worth it!

After a few minutes of many U-turns, left turns and rights turns at last we arrived at the loading station. We were so excited when we saw ‘Evac’, an Autobot recruit, who will help us transport the AllSpark shard away from Megatron and Decepticons. He features 4 seats per row, and 3 rows per vehicle.

Optimus Prime preparing for the battle.

The staff divided us by 4, we were in the last row and I was on the right most corner. Our 3D glass is on, properly seated, our hands are in place and voila Evac is ready to go. At first, he moves so slow but that change suddenly when Bumblebee handover the AllSparks to us, we passed through subway tunnels, crashing through walls, tumbling through a whirling vortex down city streets and across rooftops at breakneck speed (ahahaha!) We can’t help ourselves but screaaaaaammmm and shout (ahahaha!). One scary plunge is when we fall from a tall building and we were gasping for air as if we were about to crash the ground (ahahaha!). I don’t know who saved us between Optimus or Bumblebee but who would mind right? We were about to die for goodness sake, thanks to them anyway (ahahaha!). The least is we survived and made it without a scratch (ahahaha!). It was a scary ride yet at the same time exciting to the highest level (ahahaha!).

Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox giving advise to recruits.
It was one dark motion thrill ride we ever experienced and it was a BLAST!!!! I’ll not forget it EVER! It showcases many hyper-realistic 3D effects as if it is real!!!! Too many high definitions projected images, lots of special effects and lots of giant figures (Autobots / Decepticons) as tall as the building as if they were about to crashed and pound you down! (ahahaha!). We’ve been through a lot!!!!!! There is even one cannon about to blow us up as it point directly to us, but Evac was too good to make an escape (ahahaha!). It brings to life all the transformers as if you’re in a real war battle.

The All Spark Containment Chamber.

It was only a 4-minute journey but it looks like forever already! (ahahaha!). I don’t know how huge the building was where the rollearcoaster run but it was one crazy ride (ahahaha!). We’ve seen Bumble bee, Optimus Prime, Wheelie, and Sideswipe for the Autobots side and for Decepticons, there are: Megatron, Sideways, Bonecrasher, Ravage, Devastator, Grindor, and Starscreams. This attraction will really give you unique experience to ‘Ride the Movies’ as if you’re one of the actors playing the whole set. I feel like Sam (Shia LaBoeuf) for a minute though (feeling ~ hehehe!)
This is Evac, an Autobot recruit who will help us navigate the place to safety along with the AllSpark.

By the way, camera recording is a BIG NO! NO! NO! I have my own share of deleting all the snaps we took because there is one operator who is monitoring the whole ride. After the traverse, she asked me to stop and handover my camera and that scares me a lot (ahahaha!).

Balong in front of the building, right after our thrilling and exciting ride.
All in all, this is one attraction not to be missed and ignored or else you haven't completely explored USS. One word I can say: SUPERB!!!

Try it for yourself, from the start until the end it is filled with hard core action!!!

So there you go, I need to park here now guys.

Have a great day/night everyone.

Cheerrrrrrrrrrrrriiioooooooonssssssssssss………..
